Visa for executives
Visa granted to foreigners whose activities include, Administration, Management
and Executive Directorship in a commercial society with powers of management within
civil or commercial societies.
Visa for Investors, Legal or physical
Visa granted to foreigners (physical or legal person) who want to establish themselves
in productive areas in Brazil.
Working visa
I - Visa for foreigners who come to Brazil through an employment contract with a
national company for a period of up to 2 (two) years;
II - Visa for foreigners who come to Brazil through a technical assistance or technology
transfer contract. Foreigners who come under such a visa can only work in a non
administrative area;
Retirement based visa
The retired foreigner may request a Visa for Brazil, provided that an amount corresponding
to $ 2,000 (two thousand dollars) a month is transferred to the country for their
maintenance.
Family reunion based visa
A foreigner married to a Brazilian or has a Brazilian child under eighteen who is
economically under their dependency may request family reunion.
A foreigner who has close family in the country (father, mother or children resident
in Brazil) may also request this visa.
A legally recognized relationship (stable union), as well as an affectionate relationship,
may allow for a concession when granting a permanent visa.
